The Unit 6 reactor of Bulgaria's Kozloduy NPP has been temporarily stopped for a planned yearly repair.

The 1000 MW reactor was halted at 1.30 am Saturday for yearly repairs and inspections.

The work on Unit 6 is expected to be finished at the end of October, when the reactor is going to be reloaded and will start its 19th fuel cycle.

Kozloduy NPP's other functioning reactor, Unit 5, is working at 100% of its capacity, announced the NPP administration.
