On the fourth Sunday of the Sofia Breathes Fest, from 4 pm until 10 pm, the pedestrian zone of Sofia's main "Vitosha" boulevard will host an event titled "The Song of the Dance."
"Vitosha" hosts the festival for the first time with the program focusing on music and dance to be performed on three specially erected stages.
Bulgarian bands such as Tube Hedzzz, Taking Heed, Мехехе, LaText, and Moldova-born Bulgarian singer Yustina will perform blues, rock, jazz, and alternative music.
Dancers will be represented by the group Lindyhop.bg, who will perform under the sounds of swing. Rockabilly.bg will create a special retro-atmosphere from the 40s and the 50s of the 20th century and everyone will be able to have their picture taken in costumes from that time.
The group "Teach Me" will present a fire show and Mettasense will demonstrate Yoga styles through color, music and dance.
The DG spot will play Jamaican mixes from Samity, NRG_D and Lazy Face.
Two documentaries will be shown as well - Sofia-Kingston-Babylon, focusing on problems faced by underground musicians and Invisible Strings about India and Nepal.
Sasho Dimitrov, known as one of the best mandolin performs in the world, will have his own concert.
The project was launched for the first time in August 2010 and has enjoyed huge success ever since. The street closures during Sundays in the month of August are in a bid to reduce air pollution from traffic and favor commuting by foot.
