The dangerous and large wildfire burning near Bulgaria's southern town of Svilengrad has been localized overnight and is no longer spreading.
The information was reported Saturday morning by the Main Directorate Fire Safety and Protection of the Population at the Interior Ministry.
The blaze has been tamed and restricted to 15 000 decares and there is no danger for nearby land plots. The extinguishing effort is continuing.
Six fire trucks and other equipment were used overnight. Two more fire trucks and equipment of the Defense Ministry will join the effort Saturday.
