A heavy car accident claimed the lives of four people and injured three others near the southwestern Bulgarian town of Kresna on Tuesday, according to reports of Bulgaria’s Interior Ministry.
Two men, one woman and a 15-year-old child perished in the car crash that occured in the Kresna Gorge.
While attepmting to overtake a car, a “Renault Espace” crashed into a truck driving the opposite direction, local authorities said.
The road PP-I-E-79 where the incident took place was closed in both directions.
The signal for the car crash was placed around 6:20 pm EET on Tuesday.
