New Large Wildfire Blazes in Southern Bulgaria

A wildfire with a front of over 2 km has started out near the village of Lesovo, in Bulgaria's south-eastern Yambol region.

The fire has engulfed grasses, shrubs and patches of forest.

Four firefighter teams have been sent to the area, with others already dispatched at other wildfire locations in Yambol region.

During the last 4 days, 441 wildfires have started out in Bulgaria, out of a total 693 fires, according to data by Bulgaria's firefighting services.
