Man in Turkey Hit by Stray Bullet from Syria

Turkish young man in the Ceylanpinar municipality of Sanliurfa province has been hit while in his garden by a stray bullet coming from neighboring Syria.

The man was wounded in the chest, but the injury was light and he was released after being treated in a local hospital, reports CNN Turk.

In a more dismal incident last Saturday, another Turkish resident of Ceylanpinar was killed by a stray bullet coming from Syria.

Since mid-July, there have been intensified hostilities between Kurds and Islamists in Syria's Ra's al-'Ayn district bordering on Turkey.

For more than two years now, Syria has been torn by a bloody civil war between rebels and the forces of embattled President Bashar Al-Assad.
