Spanish side Espanyol are reportedly on the verge of signing unsettled Bulgarian forward Valeri Bojinov.
Bojinov and his agent, Gerardo Palombo, have allegedly arrived in Barcelona for contract negotiations, according to El Mundo Deportivo.
The Bulgaria international is unwanted at Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon and is likely to be sold during the summer transfer window.
The former Fiorentina and Manchester City forward has been on loan to Italian Serie B sides Verona and Vicenza since August 2012.
During his stay in Manchester City, Bojonov played with current Espanyol winger Martin Petrov, whose future at the Spanish club appears uncertain.
