Bulgaria: Bulgarian Nationalist Leader Goes Wild Live on TV TV grab from bTV.

Bulgarian nationalist party Ataka's leader Volen Siderov staged the latest of a string of hysteric antics Saturday live on air in major bTV channel.

Siderov was provoked by bTV journalist Lora Krumova's remark that in the past week he had allegedly "ran amok" in some public appearances.

The nationalist also complained that Krumova constantly interrupts him, to which she rebutted that he is "going in circles" in his speech.

"You better stay at home, look after your health, be a decent housewife and cook some dishes," snapped Siderov.

On her part, the bTV journalist retorted that the nationalist leader behaves "like a ragamuffin."

Scores of Ataka supporters soon assembled in front of the bTV studios in Sofia in protest against the derogatory description of their party chair.

Since the May 21 convocation of Bulgaria's 42nd National Assembly, Siderov has staged a number of face-to-face scandals, lashing out at media reporters and politicians from rival parties.

On the June 2 commemoration of the death of Bulgarian poet and revolutionary Hristo Botev, Siderov shocked the public by pompously appearing on horseback.
