The construction of Bulgaria’s Trakiya highway will be fully completed by July 1, Regional Development Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva has announced.

Zaharieva, who inspected the construction of the highway’s Lot 4 on Sunday, told reporters that she was satisfied with the progress made over the last two months.

The Trakiya highway section connecting the towns of Yambol and Karnobat was to be completed by the end of May. However, it was delayed by two months due to technical problems.
