Bulgaria's caretaker Economy and Energy Minister Asen Vasilev and his Deputy Bozhan Stoyanov will pay a working visit to Turkey.

Vasilev and Stoyanov are to meet Turkey's Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz on Friday, according to a media statement of Bulgaria's Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism.

The agenda of the meeting in Istanbul is to include opportunities for increasing the capacity of the interconnection between the power grids of Bulgaria and Turkey and the establishment of a Bulgarian-Turkish committee on energy issues.
