Supporters of former UK PM Margaret Thatcher have started lining the streets of London in their thousands, with some camping out overnight to get the best views of her funeral procession.

The former prime minister's body will leave parliament for the last time this morning after spending the night resting in the crypt chapel of St Mary Undercroft.

The funeral of Baroness Thatcher, Conservative Prime Minister from 1979 to 1990, will be held at 11:00 BST (10:00 GMT) at St Paul's Cathedral in central London.

Thatcher died on Monday, 8 April, at the age of 87, after suffering a stroke.

A security operation involving more than 4,000 police officers is getting under way for the funeral.
