Code Yellow Issued Across Bulgaria: Storms and Cool Weather Expected
A code yellow warning for thunderstorms has been issued across Bulgaria for Wednesday
Code yellow has been declared for twenty two Bulgarian regions Sunday over the forecast for gusty winds.
The forecast has been issued by the Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, BAS.
Code yellow means potentially dangerous weather, where the forecast is not for unusual meteorological events, but requires people to exercise caution.
Only 6 regions in northwestern Bulgaria – Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Pleven, Lovech and Pernik are under code green.
The weather will be warm with the mercury finally climbing.
The temperatures during the day will be 16C to 21C, 17C in the capital Sofia. Rain is to arrive in western Bulgaria around in the afternoon.

On Wednesday, cloud cover will temporarily increase, starting from the western regions and gradually moving eastward
