Two freight ships have collided late Thursday evening about nine miles from the Kaliakra Cape in Bulgarian Black Sea waters.

The news was reported Friday morning by the Transport Ministry.

No sailor of the crews of both ships has been injured. The vessels have not sustained serious damage causing leaks. They are already at the port of the city of Varna. A second inspection is going to be conducted Friday.

One of the ships was sailing under a Panama flag and has been on its way to Constanta, Romania, while the other was under a Comoro Islands flag and has been traveling to Samsun, Turkey.

The Transport Ministry has launched a probe in the incident.
