Dutch Brewing Giant Heineken to Cut 8,000 Jobs Worldwide
Dutch brewing giant Heineken is scrapping 8,000 jobs worldwide in an effort to cut costs, and some 300 are scheduled to go in the Netherlands, the company confirmed on Wednesday.
Bulgaria's Zagorka brewery, a fully owned subsidiary of Heineken, has named Nikolay Mladenov as its new General Manager.
Mladenov, who is currently the company's sales director, will assume his new position on March 15.
Heineken Zagorka Brewery's current General Manager, Ruud van den Eijnden, will move to Heineken's head office in Amsterdam.
