Bulgaria's ruling centrist-right GERB party is still more popular than its major political rivals, according to the latest poll conducted by the National Center for Study of Public Opinion.
GERB enjoys the support of some 24.5% of Bulgarians, which is exactly the same as the November edition of the survey.
The left-wing Bulgarian socialist party is backed by some 18.5% of Bulgarians, the poll suggests. The ethnic Turkish Movement for Rights and Freedoms comes third with 6.3%, while the Bulgaria for Citizens party of former EU Commissioner Meglena Kuneva has 5.8%.
A total of 3.1% of all responders support the right-wing Blue Coalition, while the far-right xenophobic Ataka (Attack) gathers 2.8%.
