The suicide bomber who killed five Israeli tourists and a Bulgarian bus driver in the city of Burgas back in July was assisted by three to five accomplices, according to Bulgarian Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov.

All suspected accomplices are foreigners, according to the Minister.

Tsvetanov has told the 24 Chasa daily that it is too early to name any potential suspects. However, he has stated that the July 18 terror attack was plotted outside Bulgaria for a period of a year and a half.

Tsvetanov has declared that he is pleased with how the Burgas bus bombing investigation has been carried out so far, reiterating his gratitude to the country's Euro-Atlantic partners for their support.

Five Israeli tourists and a Bulgarian bus driver were killed in the July 18 terrorist attack at the airport in the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Burgas. Israel has blamed Hezbollah for the attack.
