Pensioners Robbed of €25,500 in Bulgaria After Bank Visit
A family of pensioners from the village of Lozno in Kyustendil became victims of a robbery after converting 50,000 leva (approximately €25,500) into euros at a local bank.
A hotel on a major boulevard in Bulgaria's capital Sofia became the latest target of armed robbers, police reported.
The robbery was committed late on Monday evening when armed men stole part of the available cash the hotel had.
The amount is estimated at BGN 500.
Nobody was hurt in the incident.
The hotel is located on "Cherni vrah" boulevard.
Police now are probing the case, and checking security cameras for possible leads.
