Security measures have been partially lifted two months after the terrorist attack at the Sarafovo airport of Bulgaria's Black Sea city of Burgas.

Only increased police presence in the arrival area reminds of the terrible July 18 act, known as the Burgas bus bombing, which killed five Israeli tourists, their Bulgarian bus driver and the attacker.

The charter season is still very busy with many coming and leaving the airport. Vehicles are checked for explosives, but all people now have free access to both the departure and the arrival areas.

Nevertheless, security remains very strict for Israeli tourists. People from every flight from Israel are divided in groups by the number of bus seats and escorted through a separate and guarded hallway. Canine units are checking every bus, with no outhers allowed near the buses or the tourists.

The airport's management says they have not noticed any significant changes in the traffic to and from Tel Aviv in the aftermath of the attack.

The active charter season at Sarafovo ends on October 28.
