Manchester United's Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov has disproved in a Facebook post the numerous reports about his transfer to Italian FC Fiorentina
"Please, don't read newspapers..Only lies and speculation in the moment..," wrote Berbatov on his Facebook page Wednesday afternoon, amidst constant reports by Italian sports sites that he has arrived for tests at Fiorentina, with the Italian club allegedly buying him for EUR 5 M from United.
If Italian media reports are to be trusted, Berbatov is supposed to be "in a hotel in Florence", hammering out the transfer deal with his lawyers.
The rumors state further that he will be getting EUR 1.8 M per season plus bonuses at the Italian club.
Berbatov's agent Emil Danchev has also dismissed the numerous transfer reports.
