Stoichkov, Borisov to Lead Bulgaria in All-Star Charity Match

Football legend Hristo Stoichkov and Prime Minister Boyko Borisov will lead the Bulgarian team in MTG United for Peace charity football match.

The charity all-star match is scheduled for September 13, 2012, at the Vasil Levski national stadium in Sofia, Nova TV announced.

In addition to Stoichkov and Borisov, the Bulgarian team will feature other famous former footballers such as Lyuboslav Penev, Ilian Iliev, and Gosho Ginchev.

The MTG team retired Norwegian internationals Tore Pedersen, Vidar Riseth, Erland Johnsen, Jan Aage Fjortoft, and former English international Craig Hignett, Vid Anderson, Brian Deane, and Jimmy Carter.

The funding raised from the charity match will be channeled to sports schools for orphans. The tickets cost BGN 5.
