Bulgarian Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov met Tuesday at his office new US Secret Service Rome office head, special agent Marcus Snipe.

During the meeting, Snipe pointed out that Bulgaria is no longer on the US list of countries printing forged bills and threatening the US dollar.

Tsvetanov, together with Bulgarian Interior Ministry Chief Commissar Kalin Georgiev, and Snipe discussed the lasting Bulgarian-American cooperation in the field of security.

In particular, the two parties discussed opportunities for further training of Bulgarian law enforcement officers in the US, stressing that many of the Ministry of Interior's top officials have been trained by the US Secret Service.

Another topic of discussion was joint work in the area of cybercrime.

Secret agent Marcus Snipe is currently the head of Secret Service's regional Rome office that covers 54 countries from the Middle East, Balkans, Southern Europe and Africa.
