Bulgarian Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov has shared some details regarding the brutal double murder that took place Tuesday morning in Southwestern Bulgaria.

Two men were shot dead and a man and a woman were injured early on Tuesday in an SUV in the Southwestern Bulgarian village of Banya, near the town of Razlog.

According to initial information, the murder weapon was AK-47, Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov has revealed.

"The condition of the woman injured in the shooting near Razlog is critical. There is no danger for the other passanger," he has told reporters.

The Interior Minister suspects that the killers were acquainted with the vehicle's daily route.

According to local media, the two murdered men were 49-year-old Vasil Donev aka "Donevio", an usurer from the town of Bansko, and his associate.
