Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev is to pay his first official visit to Germany on July 2 and July 3, his press office has announced.
The visit is on the invitation of Plevneliev's German counterpart, Joachim Gauck and is said to aim at improving the economic and trade relations between the two countries.
The Bulgarian President is to attend the official opening of a German-Bulgarian business forum on July 2. The forum will take place in the building of the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce.
Plevneliev and Gauck are to meet on July 3.
The Bulgarian President will be accompanied by Economy and Energy Minister Delyan Dobrev, parliamentary budget committee head Menda Stoyanova and InvestBulgaria Agency CEO Borislav Stefanov during his visit.
