2 Bulgarians Land in US Prison for ATM Skimming

Two Bulgarian citizens were sentenced to prison in the USA for engaging in extensive ATM skimming activities.

29-year-old Dimitar Stamatov and 31-year-old Nikolay Ivanov received 9 and 3 year jail sentences, respectively.

The two were convicted of stealing data from over 1,000 banking cards and draining a total of USD 285,000 from accounts.

The two were arrested in New York in May, while removing a skimming device from an ATM.
