Bulgarian Roads Again Under Heavy Traffic After Holidays

Heavy traffic has been reported Sunday afternoon at the entry routes to major Bulgarian cities in the wake of the latest batch of non-working days that celebrated Slavic script and culture.
The entry into Sofia from the international E-79 road from Greece has been jammed in both directions, as is usual.
Traffic entering Sofia from the Trakiya Highway from the east is also heavy but unobstructed, with the Tsarigradsko Shosse Blvd also put under stress.
A long line of cars is winding along Lyulin highway, putting the nerves of drivers coming from Dupnitsa to Sofia to the test.
Roads in many parts of the country are wet due to the persistent rains.
Police are reminding drivers to drive cautiously and exercise patience.
