Maxim Behar: Bulgaria Could Become Investors' Paradise

It is high time for the state and the business sector to wake up and to start working together so that Bulgaria gains worldwide popularity as a top business destination, Maxim Behar, a prominent Bulgarian media and public relations expert, has advised.
In a Thursday interview for Bulgaria on Air TV channel, the founder and CEO of M3 Communications Group Inc. highlighted the profitable tax policy and the positive attitude of Bulgarian businesses towards foreign investors as the key advantages of the country.
"It is essential that the government and investors maintain a good dialogue," Behar noted.
"Business can only go up when the government and investors stop complaining and start working in a very pragmatic manner," the PR expert argued.
"If the business sector is better aware of the government's profile and the government is better aware of the ideas of the business sector, the probability of making the leap up will increase substantially," he added.
Maxim Behar is a co-organizer of the "Bulgaria: Business UP" conference taking place on May 11 in Sofia.
"Bulgaria: Business UP" is a new initiative designed to analyze and promote Bulgaria's advantages as a foreign investment destination.
The goal of the "Bulgaria: Business UP" investment conference is to present to the international business community the highly favorable investment climate in Bulgaria as well as the variety of opportunities for successful and sustainable business that the country has to offer.
"Bulgaria: Business UP" is organized by Novinite.com (Sofia News Agency), the largest Bulgarian English-language media, and Novinite.bg, a Bulgarian-language news website, together with the InvestBulgaria Agency.
