Bulgaria: Bodies Spotted Near Wreckage of Sukhoi Superjet A handout picture released by the President Secretary Office on 10 May 2012 shows Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono talking to a rescue team searching for a missing Russian made plane Sukhoi Superjet 100 at a Millitary Airport in Jakarta, Indo

Body fragments have been discovered near the Russian Sukhoi Superjet passenger plane that crashed into Indonesia's Mount Salak on Wednesday.

Russian blogger Sergey Dolya, part of the Russian delegation at the emergency center in Indonesia, reported on his Twitter feed that the team had been unable to land and that there are still no searchers at the crash site.

Other teams moving overland are unlikely to make it to the crash site before nightfall, Dolya said, as cited by RIA Novosti.

However, Sukhoi Civil Aviation President Vladimir Prisyazhnyuk has stated that the climb to the crash site will take six to eight hours, which means that "they will make it to the spot very soon."

The plane disappeared in the area of Mount Selak on Wednesday. On Thursday, an Indonesian rescue team spotted the aircraft on the edge of the cliff of Mount Salak at 5,500 feet (1,650 meters).

There were no signs of survivors.
