Two members of a major organized crime group in the Irish city of Limerick have been arrested in Bulgaria's Black Sea resort of Sunny Beach.

The two were arrested in an apartment after Bulgarian police was notified about the matter by the Garda S?och?na (Ireland's Police Service), according to reports of Irish Daily The Irish Times.

One of the arrested is wanted in Ireland to face charges for threatening a witness in a landmark case.

A European Arrest Warrant (EAW) was issued against him about two years ago but he has managed to escape arrest ever since.

He was once spotted in Manchester and once in Prague, but he ran away on both occasions.

A search of the apartment in Sunny Beach yielded cash, ammunition and drugs.

The two face deportation to Ireland.
