Norwegian mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik has revealed that he planned to behead the country's former Prime Minister Gro Harlem Brundtland, as well as journalist Marte Michelet and Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Store.

Michelet is a columnist for the Norwegian Dagbladet daily. Her preferred field of writing is issues of racism and Islamophobia. Both Brundtland and Store represent the Norwegian Labor Party.

Last week, Breivik told the court he planned to handcuff Brundtland, before "decapitating" her using a bayonet on his rifle and then filming the execution on an iPhone.

On Monday, he revealed that Michelet and Store were also among his targets. He explained that he would have chosen his "decapitation" target depending on which day he carried out his terror attack.

The mass murderer said on Monday he wanted to apologise for killing "innocent" people in his Oslo bombing, but not for the Utoya massacre.

Breivik said: "I would like to offer a large apology" to those who were just passing by and had no political connections, but who were injured or killed in the bombing of an Oslo government building.
