Notorious Bulgarian Roma boss Kiril Rashkov, aka Tsar Kiro, will go to jail for 3.5 years for making death threats, a second court has confirmed.
Rashkov has already been sentenced by the Regional Court in the southern Bulgarian town of Asenovgrad for threatening to murder Veselin Hristov and Ivanka Petrova, residents of the village of Katunitsa, on September 23, 2011.
On Thursday, the Plovdiv District Court confirmed Tsar Kiro's 3.5-year sentence as well as the two compensations of BGN 2000 for each of the affected persons that he is supposed to pay. The verdict is final and cannot be appealed.
The Bulgarian Roma boss Kiril Rashkov has been notorious for allegedly making a fortune by trading with fake alcohol for many years.
