Bulgarian weightlifter, Stoyan Enev, has won bronze at the 2012 European Weightlifting Championship.

The Varna native got the medal in the division of up to 62 kg with a total lifted weight of 282 kg.

The other Bulgarian competitor in the category, Vladimir Urumov, ranked 5th with 278 kg.

The gold went to B?nyamin Sezer from Turkey.

The championship is held at Kepez Basket Hall in Antalya, Turkey.

The medal is the first for Bulgaria in nearly 2 years, despite the past glory of Bulgaria's weightlifting.
