The left-wing oppositional Bulgarian Socialist Party has expectedly declared that it will vote against the ousting of Economy and Energy Minister Traicho Traikov and Health Minister Stefan Konstantinov.
According to BSP leader Sergey Stanishev, the reshuffle will not bring about any real change, since it is merely "an exchange of pawns."
"There is no way a monocracy could suddenly realize that nothing is done in the economy and that medication prices have increased by 40%," Stanishev declared, as cited by dnevnik.bg.
Stanishev further opposed former President Georgi Parvanov, who stated that a new cabinet should be formed by PM Boyko Borisov.
"Bulgaria has no exit from this situation and cannot achieve a change under this government and this Prime Minister," he said.
