Bulgaria's Construction Sector: Notable Decline Surpasses EU Trends
Recent data from Eurostat unveils a significant downturn in Bulgaria's construction industry, showcasing a more pronounced dip compared to the EU's overall production metrics
Three companies have purchased documents for the participation in the tender for the sale of the Bulgarian State construction company Technoexportstroy EAD.
The news was reported by the Privatization Agency.
The tender is public with an open bidding for 103 970 registered shares, representing 100% of the capital Technoexportstroy EAD, Sofia.
The companies that purchased documents by the end of the deadline Monday are the Greek builder Ellaktor SA, registered in Athens, and the Bulgarian firms Advance Properties OOD and AT Engineering 2000, both registered in Sofia.
The auction is planned for May 2 with a minimum price of BGN 68 M.
Technoexportstroy EAD is a State-run design, engineering and construction company. It was established in 1964 and is registered as first class international contractor and consultant in more than 20 countries in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, as well as with international financial and investment institutions such as the World Bank and the Arab Fund. Technoexportstroy has completed over 650 prestigious projects as main contractor.
The State decided to offer the company for sale in February, 2012.
