Bulgarian snowboard racer Alexandra Jekova finished fourth, after taking the lead for most of the race, at the US Grand Prix snowboard cross championship in Park City, Utah.

The Bulgarian was leading, but then made a serious error in the semi-final, and lost to winner, Canadian Dominique Maltais.

American Faye Gulini came out second, while Austrian Maria Ramberger finished third in the US Grand Prix race, which is not part of the World Cup.

In the Snowboardcross World Cup rankings, Bulgarian Jekova is third with 2600 points.

Currently the first place is occupied by Maltais with 3200 pts, followed by the US's Lindsay Jacobellis with 3000, who is however recovering from an injury.
