Prominent Turkish club Galatasaray is said to plan one more attempt to snap up Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov.

If the Bulgarian agrees to sign a contract wit the Turkish side, he will receive an initial fee of EUR 1.5 M and will enjoy a wage of EUR 3.5 M per season, according to the Futomac newspaper.

Manchester United, however, has already announced that Berbatov is to stay at Old Trafford for one more year. The striker is expected to be offered an extension deal in March.

Meanwhile, according to Italian media, Roma is ready to offer Manchester United EUR 10 M in exchange for the Bulgarian forward during the summer transfer window.

Recently, Berbatov softened his stance on a potential comeback to his country's national team. According to the latest Bulgarian media reports, he may return for Bulgaria's friendly against Hungary at the end of February.
