An unknown assailant had robbed the daily turnover of the hospital "Tokuda" in the Bulgarian capital Sofia.
Around 8 pm, the man entered the building, threatened the female receptionist, and hit her with a rubber club. He then proceeded to take BGN 30 000 from the safety vault and ran away.
According to the Bulgarian National Radio, the man had been unmasked. The police are on the lookout for him.
The woman suffered a broken arm. The hospital's management said in a statement that this is the first ever case of an assault against a health care facility.
