Bulgaria's Foreign Minister Nikolay Mladenov will arrive in Greece for a brief visit on Wednesday, the country's Foreign Ministry has announced.

In Athens, Mladenov will meet with his Greek counterpart Stavros Dimas. The two Foreign Ministers are expected to discuss their countries' bilateral relations, as well as the situation in the Western Balkans.

On Tuesday, thousands of Greek employees marched to the country's parliament to protest against austerity measures.

Greece's private sector creditors have already warned that country's government must urgently break a deadlock in negotiations on a plan to rescue it from the debt crisis and avoid default.
