A privately contracted security guard has committed suicide in the yard of the Japanese embassy in Bulgaria's capital Sofia.
The country's Interior Ministry has received information about the accident at around 11:30 am local time on Friday, dnevnik.bg reports.
The guard, a 23-year-old man, reportedly shot himself to death.
According to the BGNES news agency, the accident took place in the embassy building.
