Bulgarian PM Receives Holiday Greets from World Leaders

Bulgaria's Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has received Christmas and New Year greetings from a number of European and world leaders, the cabinet's press center reported Wednesday.
"From our family to yours: Let your holidays shine with the lights of Christmas and New Year," the greeting sent by US President Barack Obama reads. The card is signed by the entire Obama family.
The PM has also received a greeting from his New Zealand counterpart, John Key.
"Merry Christmas, Boyko. New Year's Eve is time for zeal and hope for the better," European Council President Herman Van Rompuy has written.
Joseph Daul, Chair of the Group of the European People's Party, EPP, in the European Parliament, had used a quotation by the "father of the European Union," Jean Monnet, saying "It is not important to be an optimist or a pessimist, but to be decisive!"
Borisov has also received greetings from the EPP Secretary General Antonio Lopez-Isturiz, and from his counterparts from Serbia, Macedonia, Lithuania, and Sweden.
