Spanish side Valencia are chasing PSV Eindhoven's Bulgarian international right-back Stanislav Manolev, according to a report.
As the Spanish club's efforts to snap up Ajax player Gregory van der Wiel seem most likely to fail, Manolev has become their next transfer target, the AS sports paper has stated.
PSV Eindhoven are said to demand approximately EUR 3 M in exchange for one of their most consistent players, while van der Wiel is considerably more expensive.
Manolev's contract with the Dutch side is set to expire in the summer of 2012.
n May 2010, after his first season with PSV, British newspaper The Guardian ranked Manolev among Europe's top 50 transfer targets in an online publication, citing his impressive performances on the right flank.
