Rescue teams in the the Sea of Okhotsk have discovered the body of Bulgarian Zhivko Zhekov who was onboard of a floating oil rig that capsized and sank Sunday.

The body of the 50-year-old Bulgarian has been found some 10-12 miles south of the place where the Kolskaya oil rig sank, the Russian Emergency Ministry has informed.

Zhekov was born in the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Varna. He was married and had two children. The Bulgarian was onboard of the platform in his capacity of representative of the British insurance company "Noble Denton."

Only 14 people survived Sunday's accident. According to official data, 67 people were on the platform when it sunk, but from the published lists it becomes clear they were over 70.

A breach of safety regulations is being investigated as the main cause of the incident.
