An Italian citizen killed in cold blood two Senegalese vendors in the city of Florence, Italy on Tuesday, after which he took his own life.

Italian police have described the 50-year-old Gianluca Casseri as a "right wing extremist."

He parked his car in the Florence Dalmazia Square, went out calmly and proceeded to shoot with a pistol, killing two vendors and heavily wounding one.

Two hours later he reappeared at the central San Lorenzo marked and opened fire again, wounding two other African street vendors.

After that Casseri hid in an underground garage, where he shot and killed himself.

Hundreds of people gathered near the crime scene, shouting "Shame!" and "Racists!", according to reports.
