Fulham coach Martin Jol has refuted media reports that he is eager to sign Manchester United's out of favor striker Dimitar Berbatov.
"Dimitar Berbatov is at Man United and is quite happy. And if he moves I don't think it will be possible for our club to get him, you know?," Jol commented on Thursday, as cited by Sky Sports.
"He is certainly a very good striker, he was very good for me, but it is just paper talk," he added.
Jol used to manage Tottenham Hotspur back in the time when the Bulgarian was the club's star forward.
The Cottagers have been linked with a host of strikers recently, including the likes of Andre-Pierre Gignac, Hugo Rodallega, Raul and Berbatov.
However, Jol pointed out on Thursday that his team possesses enough talent as it is, citing Moussa Dembele as an example for a player with a fantastic potential.
