Sunday the chair of the Bulgarian Parliament lay a wreath on the Gandhi monument in the Indian capital and the members of her delegation ritually sprinkled rose petals.
"The ideas and teaching of Mahatma Gandhi have a timeless meaning and ever greater role in today's dynamic world. His message of peace, tolerance and non-violence resonates today, inspiring millions across the globe," reflected Tsacheva.
She stated in particular that the Bulgarian people has always revered Gandhi as an apostle of peace and good change.
Sunday the Bulgarian delegation visited the Indian center of crafts and held talks with local businessmen.
Monday India and Bulgaria will sign intergovernmental agreements for cooperationi in the fields of health and medicine, and science and technologies.
