Borissov: 'We Did Everything We Could'

The Deputy Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism, Evgeni Angelov, is going to be included in the team of Bulgaria's President-elect, Rosen Plevneliev.
The news was reported by Plevneliev Thursday, during his visit to the Black Sea city of Varna, which is part of his national tour.
Angelov will be Advisor to the President on investments and economy matters.
Last week, the Deputy Minister was released from the management team of the Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH) without any stated motives. At the Ministry, he was also in charge of economy affairs.
Angelov has a МВА from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor's Degree from the London Guildhall University. He had worked for the London branch of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the real estate company Trigranit Development Corporation, and is one of the founders of the investment fund Attria Capital Partners.
Other members of the presidential team, already announced by Plevneliev, are his Deputy when he was Minister of Regional Development – Ekaterina Zaharieva, his press office Head there – Maria Ivanova, the ex Parliamentary Secretary of the Regional Ministry, Pavel Atanasov and his ex Chief of Staff, Elitsa Nikolova.
Plevneliev, who in October won the post on the ticket of the ruling, center-right Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria party (GERB), is going to be inaugurated on January 22, 2012.
