More than 2,500 tourists have been blocked in the Mount Everest area of Nepal due to bad weather for a week, report world agencies.
Thick fog has forced a massive cancellation of flights in Nepal, including the Solukhubu region, where Everest is located.
The two airports in the area - Faplu and Lukla - have completely stopped all flights for the last week due to the inclement weather conditions.
Some of the tourists blocked in the area are residing in tents, as hotels are completely booked; problems with food supplies are also feared.
