Send to KindleThe Bulgarian Ministry of Interior has announced that 15,220 police officers will be deployed Sunday to ensure the safe and peaceful carrying through of the second round of presidential and local elections.
Police officers will help local electoral authorities at their request and will not allow inebriated or aggressively behaving persons in polling stations.
The Ministry of Interior also reminds that citizens can send signals for vote-buying and selling to police officers and local police stations.
All violations that citizens witness can also be reported to a national number, /02/ 982 22 32, and e-mail address, izbor@mvr.bg, set up for the elections.
Throughout Sunday, police will also be giving regular up to date information about security in the voting process.
