Bulgarian football championship A Group newcomers Ludogorets Razgrad won 2:1 their home friendly against top Romanian football team Dinamo Bucharest.

The first half ended without a goal, with Ludogorets taking the lead in the 48th minute courtesy of Brazilian Marcelinho. The Romanians evened out some 20 minutes later with a goal by Marius Niculae.

То their credit, Dinamo Bucharest played without 8 of their key players, but captain Emil Gargorov was also missing from Ludogorets's group due to an injury.

The Bulgarian team managed to win the game in the additional time with a beautiful goal by Belgian Christian Kabasele.

Ludogorets Razgrad has been somewhat of a surprise in the Bulgarian 2011-12 season, being currently second in the temporary ranking with 22 pts out of 7 games played in its very first time in the A-League.

Dinamo Bucharest is the second-best performing team in Romanian club football history, and is currently ranked first in Romania's Liga I, with 22 pts out of 9 games played.

Key sponsor of Ludogorets Razgrad is Bulgarian businessman Kiril Domuschiev, owner of pharmaceutical company Huvepharma, who has in the past year or so made large investments in buying players and building facilities for the team.
