Bulgaria's Prime Minister, appointed Wednesday, Georgi Stoev, as a new Deputy Culture Minister, the cabinet's press center reports.

Stoev will be charge of management, coordination and development of the country's cultural heritage and treasures.

The new Deputy Minister was born on February 15, 1954. He has a Master's Degree in Architecture from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG) in Sofia.

Stoev had been employed for 6 years with the National Institute for Cultural Heritage. Since 2010, he had worked at the Main Directorate "Inspectorate for Preserving Cultural Heritage" at the Culture Ministry. He is fluent in Russian and English.
