Rositsa Steliyanova, Executive Director of the Bulgarian Employment Agency, has resigned, citing personal reasons, according to an announcement of the press office of the Labor and Social Policy Ministry.

The resignation was accepted Wednesday by Labor Minister Totyu Mladenov.

Until the appointment of a new head, the functions will be exercised by Kameliya Lozanova, currently Deputy Executive Director.

Steliyanova was appointed head of the Employment Agency in June 2009 by then-Labor Minister Emiliya Maslarova.

She joined the ranks of the Employment Agency in 2002 and was Deputy Executive Director in the period December 2003 - 2009.
